Will my email address change?

No, your email address will stay the same.  Only your password will need to be updated. 

Will I lose access to emails or filing structure?

No, all the emails and folders will be migrated across.

Will I have access to my contact list?

Yes, the contacts saved under Outlook will be migrated across.

Can I access emails on my desktop computer?

Yes, you can access your emails via an internet browser (Edge, Safari, Chrome, etc) but we recommend using Microsoft Edge as it will integrate more smoothly.  From any internet browser, you can download a cloud-based version of Outlook onto your desktop.  The cloud-based version has the same features but the server is running in the cloud rather than on your computer.  We strongly recommend using the web browser to access your emails.

Can I continue using other email providers?

We will be migrating your mailbox linked to you @methodist.org.uk account, we will not be changing any other emails you have access to, but we do recommend the use of your @methodist.org.uk account within M365 for the security and compliance advantages.

Can I log into other M365 accounts?

Yes, if you have another M365 account you can use them both side-by-side. You may need to use a differen Edge profile or use a different web browser (Chrome or Safari) so you can stay logged into both at the same time. 

Can I adapt this to my current system?

Yes, it can be integrated but some changes to ways of working may need to accommodated.
